Suwanee police have received six reports about the flasher.

Suwanee police believe they have captured the emboldened serial flasher that has plagued their streets for the last several weeks.

Capt. Cass Mooney confirmed Tuesday morning that an arrest had been made Monday afternoon, but asked that the suspect's identity be withheld until photo lineups could be completed with the alleged victims. Jail records list the man as a South Carolina resident and an employee of Office Depot.

The Atlanta Journal Constitution reported last week that the man had been spotted around Suwanee at least six times.  The first several calls involved female runners seeing the man — described as bald, in his 30s and wearing a white tank top with no pants — masturbating in his car with the door open. In the latest pair of incidents, however, the man actually left his vehicle and approached the victims.

Last Wednesday, he allegedly went one step further and chased after a female jogger in Town Center Park.

"He got out of the car, he was naked and he walked toward her," Mooney said at the time.

Police released last week a description of two vehicles the man had been seen in. Mooney said a resident called them Monday afternoon after spotting one of those cars "somewhere [the suspect] had been before."

"We didn't catch him in the act of doing anything," Mooney said.

Online records show the man has been charged with six counts of public indecency. He is being held at the Gwinnett County jail without bond.
