Four men have been indicted for their alleged roles in delivering 75 liters of liquid methamphetamine to an Austell home last month in the gas tank of a pickup truck.
The federal indictment charged Gabriel Jimenez Antunez, 39, of Mexico, Pablo Saucedo Aparicio, 38, of Mexico, Martin Ascencio, 49, of Mableton and Javier Munoz Ruiz, 54, of Fort Worth, Texas, with conspiring to possess with the intent to distribute more than 500 grams of methamphetamine.
According to Robert Page, spokesman for U.S. Attorney Sally Quillian Yates, federal agents learned last month that Jimenez was coordinating the delivery of a shipment of liquid meth to metro Atlanta and laundering the proceeds from the drug trafficking.
“In the early morning hours of May 12, agents tracked the delivery made by Munoz using a Ford F-350, to a residence in Austell,” Page said in a statement.
Agents executed search warrants at that and other related residences and recovered another 10 pounds of crystal meth, Page said.
