Cops: Man steals from Gwinnett Home Depot 16 times, gets $10K in items

Gwinnett County police are searching for a man they believe has stolen $10,000 in items from Norcross Home Depot over 16 incidents.

Gwinnett County police are trying to identify a man who they believe has shoplifted from a Norcross Home Depot more than a dozen times.

The suspect has gotten away with more than $10,000 worth of items from the store at 4136 Jimmy Carter Boulevard, police said. He has shoplifted from the store 16 times between November 2018 and March 2019, according to police.

The suspect has been described by police as a black man in his late 20s to early 30s with a beard and a “medium complexion.” Each time he has been spotted at the store, he has left in a white 2007 Cadillac Escalade with damage to the driver’s side rear bumper.

Anyone with information about this case is asked to contact Gwinnett County detectives at 770-513-5300 or Crime Stoppers at 404-577-8477. Crime Stoppers tips may be rewarded with up to $2,000 if they lead to an arrest or indictment.
