A 51-year-old man has died after being shot in the back during an argument Monday night, DeKalb police said.
Tony Dawson was an acquaintance of the man who shot him, but police said they did not know what sparked the argument that led to the shooting.
Police are looking for the 30-year-old suspect, who is expected to be charged with murder.
The incident took place in the 1800 block of Memorial Drive in Atlanta.
After the shooting, Dawson was transported to a local hospital and rushed into surgery, but he did not survive.
Authorities have not released the suspect's name and the investigation is continuing.
