A BMW was found in the Chattahoochee River on Sunday, Fulton County police said.
Divers on the scene at Ga. 92 verified that no bodies were inside the vehicle, Fulton police spokesman Sgt. Scott McBride said.
Authorities said the silver 2001 BMW reportedly was stolen.
The vehicle most likely was pushed down a boat ramp at an adjacent park, McBride said.
It appeared to have been in the water for several days, he said. The car was removed late Sunday afternoon.
