Improvements to the intersection of Highway 78 at Brand Road and Old Loganville Road will continue in Loganville through June. Contractors will create right and left turn lanes for both roads as they approach Highway 78. Flashing yellow arrows will be added for left turns from Highway 78 onto the secondary roads.
The project also includes sidewalks, curb, gutter and storm drainage improvements as well as widening of the roadway. Construction, which began in November, is on schedule for traffic light installation this month.
Loganville is accessing SPLOST funds for their portion of the joint project with Gwinnett DOT.
