Kathy Bearden submitted this photo. “We were on safari looking for leopards and lions and giraffes, when our ranger pointed us to a tree. There in the branches lazed a leopard. We were in awe. It was so beautiful! We sat patiently waiting and watching. I must have snapped 100 pictures. This is one of my favorites,” she wrote. “And then eventually, he made his way down to the top of the termite hill. They love to perch atop massive termite mounds and survey the terrain. This was an amazing journey and we fell in love with Africa and leopards!”
