“I took this picture of my neighbor’s horse enjoying the snow in the Cartoogechaye Valley, Western NC,” wrote Allen Stoker. “Cartoogechaye was the name of the Native American Cherokee chief who lived in the valley. The weather there can be extreme with below zero temps and lots of snow. I live in Peachtree Corners and I have a second home in the valley.”
