Kim Scott of College Park submitted this shot in October at Morrow City Hall Park “As an amatuer photographer, I love taking seasonal photos of trees and squirrels especially when walking through the park next to Morrow City Hall. For this particular shot, I had only intended to snap a picture of some fallen branches of pine needles that I thought were so interestingly grouped together. Imagine my delight when I later checked the photo and discovered I had actually caught a squirrel that (unknown to me) had leaped into my shot! Considering the squirrel’s spontaneous timing and speed, I know I would never have been able to capture a natural once-in-a-lifetime photo like this no matter how hard I planned or tried.”
