A College Park woman has been charged with robbing a SunTrust Bank in Macon.

Tameskia Necole Moore of 6250 Beaver Creek Trail was taken to Bibb County Jail, where she remained Saturday. No bond had been set.

The bank on Vineville Avenue in Macon was robbed Wednesday afternoon. In bank surveillance images, a woman with sunglasses on top of her hair and wearing a black and yellow striped dress with a tank top is seen approaching a teller, from whom she allegedly demanded money.

Moore was arrested at her home in College Park around 4:40 p.m. Friday. She is charged with one count of armed robbery. Authorities did not say how much money she may have been given, if any.

"As was mentioned shortly after the bank robbery occurred on Wednesday, it was a matter of time until we caught and arrested this suspect." police Chief Mike Burns said in a release.

There have been a rash of bank robberies and attempted heists so far this year in North Georgia.

On Thursday before fleeing the bank, a robber wounded a Wells Fargo Bank employee at a Norcross branch in Gwinnett. The bank is offering a reward of up to $50,000.
