The annual South Metro Development Outlook Conference will take place from 7 a.m.-2 p.m. Feb. 23 at the Georgia International Convention Center, 2000 Convention Center Concourse in College Park. The conference, which is the largest development conference in south metropolitan Atlanta, has taken place for 15 years.
Participants can register for the conference for a reduced fee until the close of business Wednesday. Public officials expected to attend are Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed, Fulton County Board of Commissioners Chairman John Eaves, Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport General Manager Roosevelt Council and Atlanta Regional Commission Executive Director Doug Hooker.
“Since 2003, the South Metro Development Outlook has been a catalyst for promoting economic development in the south metropolitan region,” said College Park Mayor Jack Longino. “I appreciated how each year it has grown bigger and better than the year before.”
Comcast is the presenting sponsor for the conference along with the city of College Park, the development authorities of Clayton and Fulton Counties, Aerotropolis Atlanta, Georgia Power and Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. Registration for the conference is $70 in advance until Wednesday $80 the day of the conference.
