Community meetings on 2040 plan start Thursday

Cobb Community Development staff will host public workshops to gather comments and discuss information about Cobb’s 2040 Comprehensive Plan.

The plan will guide and manage expected population and employment growth and coordinate major investments in public safety, transportation and community facilities.

These interactive workshops are designed to establish priority needs and collect feedback on the proposed vision, goals and policies of the plan.

There also will be discussion about the county’s Future Land Use guidelines.

Input from Cobb residents is encouraged to ensure the plan reflects their preferences and desires.

With no formal presentations, residents may drop in any time from 3 to 7 p.m.:
