Cobb County Department of Transportation staff and operators will test their responsiveness to severe winter weather on Dec. 7-8.

The exercise will begin at the CCDOT office at 1890 County Services Parkway, Marietta and continue along assigned ice and snow routes from 6:30 to 10 a.m. Wednesday and 6:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Thursday.

Wednesday’s exercise will include only pretreat (brine) vehicles, treating bridges only on designated ice and snow routes.

During Thursday’s all-day exercise, trucks will be covering all ice and snow routes throughout Cobb County.
