Cobb schools adminstrative personnel shuffling

The Cobb County school board on Wednesday approved the departure of two senior administrators, and promoted two principals.

Chief human resources officer Donald Dunnigan and Jan Holley, director of teacher evaluations, retired effective Oct. 31 and Nov. 1 respectively.

Shallowford Falls Elementary School Principal Doreen Griffeth was promoted to area assistant superintendent, with Debra Wilson hired to replace her. Griffin Middle School Principal Darryl York was promoted to policy development director, with James Snell hired to replace him.
