The International Association of Chiefs of Police is working with the Cobb County Police Department to conduct a comprehensive operational assessment of the department.
IACP staff are interested in hearing constructive feedback and suggestions from Cobb residents to improve the department, according to a Monday statement from county officials.
Cobb residents are invited to attend two listening sessions where they can speak on their experiences with the police department and provide input on areas where they would like to see improvements and where they feel the department is doing well.
Meetings will be 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at South Cobb High School, 1920 Clay Road SW, Austell and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Mt. Bethel Church Fellowship Hall, 4385 Lower Roswell Road, Marietta.
The online survey is available through Sept. 19 at surveymonkey.com/r/COBBCODPS.
