Improvements should be completed sometime in 2018 for realignment of the interchange at Interstate North Parkway and Interstate North Circle to change the through movement.
The Georgia Department of Transportation also will provide bicycle and pedestrian improvements along Interstate North Parkway to Windy Ridge Parkway.
GDOT will pay up to $8,333,442.
Cobb County will pay all of the costs exceeding the state’s maximum that is anticipated to be $266,333 for Cobb.
CMES Inc. recently was awarded the contract of $8,599,775 as the low bidder by the Cobb County Board of Commissioners.
