Cobb County is seeking community input to guide federal grant planning for the next few years.

County government officials are preparing for their:

The Analysis of Impediments (AI) will identify barriers to equal access to housing and propose strategies to overcome those impediments.

The Consolidated Plan identifies community needs and provides a five-year strategy for how HUD grant funds will be used to develop community resources that address those needs.

The Annual Action Plan will address specific needs during the 2021 program year.

A kickoff meeting is planned for 2-4 p.m. Feb. 3 at Zion Keepers, 324 Victory Drive, SE, Marietta.

Also, seven more meetings will be held in February to obtain public input for community development and fair housing needs in Cobb.
