Cobb Horseshoe Bend Road residents invited to meeting

Cobb County residents of Horseshoe Bend Road are invited to a public meeting 7 to 8:30 p.m. June 29 at Hollydale United Methodist Church, 2364 Powder Springs Road, Marietta on the possible installation of speed humps.

The road has met all of the preliminary criteria and now the petition process will begin, according to a county statement. In order for speed humps to be considered further, affected property owners must support the petition at a level of 65 percent or greater.
