Cobb grants $19 million to new assisted living facility

A new assisted living development will receive a $19 million boost from the Development Authority of Cobb County.

The Cobb County Board of Commissioners decided Tuesday to grant this request for Provident Group - Creekside Properties LLC to help build the facility on 3.68 acres at 4838 South Cobb Drive between the East-West Connector and I-285.

Provident Village at Creekside is a 70,000-square-foot facility that will include 92 units with 69 for assisted living and 23 for memory care.
