Cobb residents are invited to learn more about the tasks carried out by officers, firefighters and 911 dispatchers by participating in the Citizens Public Safety Academy.

The spring session of the academy will begin April 2, and will give class participants an inside look at the county’s police, fire, animal services and 911 departments.

The 15-week course is open to all county residents, who will also see how these agencies work together to provide essential services to the public.

Residents can pick up an application at the Public Safety Training Center located at 2109 Valor Drive in Marietta or by emailing Victor.Verola@cobbcounty.org.
