The Cobb school board will meet July 26 at the district’s headquarters, 514 Glover Street in Marietta, to vote on the millage rate. The board is not expected to increase the rate, even though the 2011-12 budget is built on a higher millage. That's because the board agreed to use excess sales-tax dollars to lower tax rate back to its current level. Info: www.cobbk12.org
