The Cobb Board of Education voted 7-0 Wednesday to set aside its second $5 million into a fund to rebuild Harmony Leland and Clay elementary schools in south Cobb.

Board member and Harmony Leland parent David Morgan made the motion to designate $5 million from the unassigned fund balance.

This $10 million will go toward the estimated $30 million needed for the new elementary school in Mableton.

Harmony Leland is at 5891 Dodgen Road, Mableton, and Clay is at 730 Boggs Road, Mableton.
