Federal authorities are seeking the public’s help in identifying two men who kidnapped and raped a Fort Benning woman earlier this month.

The woman’s white pickup truck was broken down on the 101st Airborn Division Road on Fort Benning at around 10 a.m. Oct. 17 when two men confronted her. After they abducted and assaulted her, the woman was left at the scene.

Special Agents from the U.S. Army Criminal Investigation Command, commonly known as Army CID, have released composite sketches of two men wanted for questioning who were last seen in the vicinity of Sunshine Road on Fort Benning.

The first is a white male in his 20s with a shaved head, about 160 pounds and 5 feet 9 inches tall with a scar on the left side of his face.

The second man is described as a white male in his 30s, approximately 210 pounds and 5 feet 9 inches tall. He wore a faded baseball cap with the Chevron Oil Company logo.

Anyone with information about one or both of the individuals is asked to contact the Fort Benning CID Office at 706-575-8736.

Special Agents also advised area residents to be vigilant and report any suspicious activity immediatley to CID or the Military Police.
