Clayton County Public Schools employees could see a one-time, one-percent bonus next year if the school board approves a recommendation from the district’s interim superintendent. The recommendation comes as the school board prepares next year’s budget which could weigh in at about $352 million. The bonuses could materialize since the board recently learned the district has more revenue - about $11.37 million - than originally anticipated.
