Clayton police: Sexual assault suspect is armed with grenade

The Clayton County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a man suspected of sexual assault charges who is thought to be armed with a grenade.

Reinaldo Hector Morales, 57, is wanted for rape, sodomy, aggravated assault and false imprisonment, according to Clayton County Sheriff Victor Hill.

“He is reported to be armed with a hand grenade and is a former Vietnam Veteran,” Hill said in a statement.

The sheriff’s department is looking for Morales where he was last seen in the Conley area, Hill said.

Morles is considered very dangerous, and the public is asked not to approach him if seen, Hill said.

Police did not release details about the charges. Anyone with information is asked to call 911.
