Clayton County police on Wednesday arrested a man wanted on charges of impersonating a police officer and sodomizing several people, including a juvenile.

Police earlier this year began looking for Andre Pierre Walker, 22. Police say he told victims he was a police officer and needed to search them.

The cases were linked using DNA, police said.

Walker is charged with three counts of aggravated sodomy, three counts of false imprisonment, two counts of impersonating a police officer and one count of aggravated assault.

In July, Walker was arrested after police allege he told a man he was a sheriff’s deputy and needed to search him for drugs after picking him up on Tara Boulevard, Clayton police told Channel 2 Action News. Police allege that Walker then sexually assaulted the man in the back seat of a car.

Walker faces similar charges in DeKalb County.
