The Clayton County Library system has a new director. Rosalind Lett will oversee the county’s six libraries. She began her new job on Aug. 5. Prior to coming to Clayton, Lett was the associate director for Public Services at the Huntsville-Madison County Library in Huntsville, Ala. During her career, she has served as director of the medical library at Crawford Long Hospital, now Emory University Hospital Midtown. She also served as the Knowledge Integration Resources Coordinator at Vanderbilt University’s Eskind Biomedical Library. She also has done consulting on the library and healthcare industries. In 2011, Lett was named a Library Journal Mover and Shaker for her work in north Alabama.
