The Clayton County Board of Commissioners will host a ribbon cutting ceremony 10 a.m. Friday for the newly renovated Animal Control Center. Attendees will also have the opportunity to tour the facility, take photos and videos as well as receive statements from Jeffery E. Turner, Chairman of the Clayton County Board of Commissioners; Detrick Stanford,

Chief Operating Officer of Clayton County; Michael Edmondson, Clayton County District 4 Commissioner and members of the Clayton County Police Department, Animal Control Unit.

The ceremony is free and open to the public.

The Animal Control Center is located at 1396 Government Circle in Jonesboro.

Tours will begin immediately after the ceremony and continue until noon.
