The City of Clarkson closed its administrative offices in anticipation of wintry weather, but officials are still holding their work session scheduled for Tuesday evening.

Like much of  metro Atlanta, the city closed its offices as a safety precaution. The metro area was forecast to get up to 1.5 inches of snow but got rain instead.

Roads could become icy as as temperatures fall in the evening.

The city manager and elected officials will hosts its 6 p.m. mixer at city hall on 3921 Church Street in Clarkston. The work session will follow at 7 p.m.

City offices are expected to reopen Wednesday.
