Clarkston’s city manager recently earned the Credentialed Manager designation from the International City/County Management Association.
Keith Barker is one of 1,225 professionals to receive the voluntary credential through senior management experience, education and adherence to ethics.
Barker was named the DeKalb County city’s first city manager in 2011. He had been the county’s chief operating officer before being fired after admitting to a sexual relationship with a water department secretary.
