City of Alpharetta officials are warning of a number of road closures associated with the 25th annual Taste of Alpharetta on Thursday.
The city said these streets will be completely blocked off from 5 a.m. Thursday until 5 a.m. Friday: Milton Avenue from Ga. 9 to Milton Center, Old Roswell Street and Old Canton Street. Closing beginning at 7:30 a.m.: Roswell Street from Old Milton Parkway to Milton Avenue and Canton Street from School Drive to Milton Avenue.
Officials said Thursday’s 5-10 p.m. event across from city hall downtown is expected to draw some 50,000 people, resulting in potential heavy traffic delays.
