The Cherokee County Recreation & Parks Agency is offering veterans, their families and others the opportunity to participate in the creation of the Monument at Cherokee Veterans Park in Canton by purchasing commemorative pavers.

All funds donated will be used for the design, construction and maintenance of the veterans monument, which will be dedicated to the men and women who served in the U.S. military, according to Cherokee Parks.

Bricks can be purchased online at a Cherokee parks website or in person at the Recreation Center, Building 200, 7545 Main, Woodstock.

They are available in three styles: 4 by 8 inches with up to three lines of text, $75; 8 by 8 inches with up to six lines of text, $100; and 8 by 8 inches with up to three lines of text and a military seal of the purchaser’s choice, $125.
