Cherokee County’s economic development office said Inalfa Roof Systems’ recently announced expansion in the Cherokee 75 Corporate Park will generate at least 300 new jobs by 2019. The agency projects 60 of those jobs will be added this year, in positions ranging from management to skilled workers.
The company soon plans to break ground on a 52,500-square-foot second building in the business park. Inalfa is one of the world’s biggest manufacturers of sunroof and open roof systems for the automotive industry. The company established its Cherokee operation in January of 2014, and now makes its regional headquarters there.
The park is in southwest Cherokee near I-75 and Ga. 92.
