Cherokee authorities say solicitation activity looks questionable

The Cherokee County Sheriff's Office is warning about "questionable" activity by three heavy-set white males in a green Chevy pickup soliciting yard work. Lt. Jay Baker says in several cases victims offered payment or partial payment, the men did only part of the job, then left and immediately cashed their checks. He says NEVER pay someone for work until the job's done and the end result looks ok.
