The city of Chamblee launched a newly redesigned website in an effort to enhance the user experience for its residents, businesses and visitors. The goal is to give constituents the tools they’ve asked for more easily and quickly, like paying parking violations and looking for jobs, according to a news release.
The site includes a new layout and design as well as several features aimed at making it easier for users to access government services and information. A new feature of the enhanced website is an interactive map that features capital projects. This allows residents to see paving, sidewalk and streetscape projects on a map, along with their respective project information.
Not new to this design but also included with this version of the website is Notify Me, which allows residents to subscribe to emails for urgent alerts, news and announcements or when meeting agendas or minutes are posted.
Updates to the website will continue as the city looks to incorporate more solutions to serve its residents and businesses.
The website was redesigned by CivicPlus, and features enhanced functionality as well as a cleaner, easier layout to navigate. Another important change with the new site is its responsive design, which means the site will automatically reshape itself to maximize its presentation for any screen, including tablets and smart phones.
