Challenges filed to Woodstock city incumbents

The Woodstock mayor’s race and two of three City Council seats will be contested in the November general election, according to a candidates list released by city officials as the qualifying period ended Aug. 23.

Mayor Donnie Henriques will be challenged by Elizabeth “Liz” Dorsey Baxter, while Ward 1 incumbent Warren Johnson will face off against Dennis G. Conway, Ward 3 incumbent Robert W. Mueller has two opponents: Colin Ake and Judy Davila.

Ward 5 incumbent Brian G. Wolfe is running unopposed.
