You and yours can catch three movie parties at the best price (free) this summer in Sandy Springs.

Civic engagement group Leadership Sandy Springs is hosting three Movies by Moonlight events this summer. The group said this will be their 15th year hosting the events.

There will be pre-movie food trucks, festivities starting at 6 p.m., on-stage entertainment starts at 7 p.m. Movies start at dusk on the City Springs center lawn.

Here are the dates and which movies will play:

Aug. 9 | "How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World"

Aug. 23 | "Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse"

Sept. 6 | "Captain Marvel"

The group said movies will be shown on an inflatable, 30-foot screen.

The event hopes to “bring back the nostalgia of an outdoor cinema and the fun of a timeless carnival,” according to the website.
