Some residents of Canton may experience water pressure problems through Thursday, as the city does utility maintenance.
The city began draining the Ridge Pine Ground Storage Water Tank Monday to do work on the structure. As a result, residents of Canton in an area that a map shows as generally south of Riverstone Parkway and east of Marietta Highway, encompassing the downtown area and running along either side of I-575 may experience low water pressure.
City officials also said after the tank’s refilled and the water system is restored to normal, some residence may experience air in their water (signified by a milky color). Customers are advised to run their water for five to 10 minutes to mitigate the problem. Questions: 770-479-2392.
