The Johns Creek Community Association will hold a city council candidate forum from 6-9 p.m. Oct. 20 at the Taylor Lodge, 11045 Parsons Road, Johns Creek. A mix-and-mingle is set for 6, with the forum proper starting at 6:45.
Organizers say nearly all of the candidates have committed to attending. They are Jay Lin, Chris Coughlin and Todd Burlkhalter for Post 2 in the general election and Steve Broadbent and Tom Radford for Post 6 in the general. In the special election Post 2 race, Arun Misra and Patty Hansen will attend. Coughlin and Burkhalter are also running in that race. In the special election Post 5 contest, Carlos Carbonell, Stephanie Endres and Nazeera Dawood will appear.
The only candidate who will not be able to attend is Bob Gray, who is running unopposed in the Post 4 general election spot.
