A taxicab driver was recovering Thursday morning after being shot overnight in College Park.
Channel 2 Action News reported that the driver for Day & Night Cab Co. was shot three times at the Old Town Villas apartments on Godby Road.
The wounded cabbie was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital for treatment of wounds that were not believed to be life-threatening.
The cab driver's name has not been released. Police have not disclosed a motive for the shooting.
Last month, another Day & Night taxi driver, Jack Rainey, was shot and killed in East Point.
East Point police arrested Danny Kirtz, 19, and charged him with murder, kidnapping, armed robbery and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.
