A traffic shift is planned Thursday, May 17, for Browns Bridge Road (Ga. 369) in eastern Forsyth County near Lake Lanier as traffic is moved to newly constructed lanes at Two Mile Creek, the Georgia Department of Transportation announced.
Weather permitting, the change will allow the continued construction of a new bridge by the construction partners of E.R. Snell, GDOT said. Temporary concrete barriers will be installed, along with an additional “No Outlet” sign at Pleasant Grove Circle.
A new, two-lane bridge with 12-foot lanes and 8-foot shoulders is planned for Browns Bridge at Two Mile Creek. The roadway approaching the bridge also will be reconstructed with two 12-foot lanes and 10-foot shoulders.
