In a vote Monday to approve annexation petitions from Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta and Executive Park into City of Brookhaven city limits, city council also voted to approve a cost defrayment agreement between the city and CHOA effective immediately not to exceed seven years. This agreement will allow the city to generate revenue to offset the cost of city services such as public safety and code enforcement.
This vote comes after public hearings and multiple conversations with city officials and CHOA and Executive Park representatives to address concerns with service delivery to the areas.
