Brookhaven’s Ashford Park closed for renovations

The Brookhaven Parks and Recreation Department announced that Ashford Park, located at 2980 Redding Road, will be closed this week. The closure is a safety precaution for the public so that the city can complete the installation of a new shade structure over the sandbox. The improvements will also include the construction of a new family picnic shelter in the park.
The Ashford Park Community room will remain open for meetings and rentals.
