Hammond’s black 2016 Harley Davidson left the roadway as he traveled along a curve on Bannister Road, Rainwater said. Hammond was ejected from the motorcycle and pronounced dead at the scene.

“The men and women of the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office extend their condolences and prayers to the Sandy Springs Fire Department and the Hammond family,” he said.
