UPDATE: Motorcyclist killed after crashing into MARTA bus ID’d

A motorcyclist killed Thursday after pulling in front of a MARTA bus in southeast Atlanta has been identified.
Ulysses Smith, 56, of Jonesboro, was killed in the crash, according to the Fulton County Medical Examiner’s office.
An autopsy is being performed Friday.
Cars were stopped on Jonesboro Road when the motorcyclist pulled into oncoming traffic about 4:30 p.m., Atlanta police Sgt. Warren Pickard said. The motorcycle slammed into the MARTA bus.
Traffic on Jonesboro Road was backed up hours later as detectives investigated.
