A 3-year-old girl was rushed to a hospital by helicopter Monday afternoon after family members found her underwater in a backyard pool, officials said.

The girl, identified Tuesday as Kenlee Ward of Dayton, Ohio, wandered into the backyard of a Hall County vacation home, sheriff’s Deputy Stephen Wilbanks said.

She was pulled from the water, given CPR and someone called 911, Wilbanks said.

Ward remained in critical but stable condition Tuesday at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta at Egleston, Wilbanks said.

Further details were not available.
