Braselton woman killed in motorcycle crash
A Braselton woman was killed early Friday when the motorcycle she was riding collided with another vehicle.
Georgia State Patrol spokesman Gordy Wright said Gena Renee Scott, 44, was operating a motorcycle westbound on Ga. 53 in Jackson County just before 6:30 a.m. when an eastbound Toyota Rav 4 turned in front of her.
Scott was thrown from the motorcycle on impact and killed, Wright said.
He said charges are pending against the Toyota driver, Melissa Griggs, 24, of Braselton.
