Chris and Zach Giannini of Northwestern Middle School were honored with a proclamation from the Milton City Council which recognized the brothers for their efforts to repair and paint more than 200 feet of two-board horse fence that surrounds Milton's Bethwell Community Center.
Brooks Baro of Macintosh High was named the winner of the Association for Career and Technical Education's student trophy design contest. Baro received a $1,000 scholarship and his school received a free one-year lease of a 3-D printer.
