Ida Spence, a first-generation Kennesaw State University senior, has been named a recipient of the Georgia Board of Regents 2018 Academic Recognition Award.

Ida Spence, a first-generation Kennesaw State University senior, has been named a recipient of the Georgia Board of Regents 2018 Academic Recognition Award.

Laurie Alexis Sauvageau-Robillard of Atlanta, Ga., received a bachelor of science degree in innovation and entrepreneurship from Clarkson University on December 16th.

Erni Whitaker was named to the dean’s list at Bates College for the fall semester ending in December 2017.

The following local residents were recently initiated into The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, the nation’s oldest and most selective collegiate honor society for all academic disciplines:

  • Ashley Foreman and Lauren Hahn both of Alpharetta, Sydney Stone of Carrollton, Tina OShields of Cartersville, Hannah Aaron of Cedartown, Jake Doiron of Duluth, Anderson Spearman of Dunwoody, Matthew Davis of Kennesaw, Liz Swanigan of Mount Berry, Meghan Albritton of Rockmart, Callie Whitesell of Watkins and Katie Doremus of Woodstock were initiated at Berry College.
  • Kelsey Muniz of Atlanta was initiated at University of Michigan.
  • Andrew Isenhour of Smyrna was initiated at North Carolina State University.
  • Casey Forbes of Woodstock was initiated at The University of Tampa.
