A body was found floating Tuesday morning in Lake Lanier, the Hall County Sheriff's Office said.
The body has been tentatively identified as a 45-year-old man who was reported missing early Saturday morning by a roommate, police said. The man, whose name has not been released, reportedly was suffering from depression when he left his Gainesville home, police said.
Foul play is not suspected, police said.
The body was discovered shortly after 11 a.m. at Bells Mill Bridge on U.S. 129 North.
